How to set up wholesale or members who should not be charged tax with an Entity Code

Avalara: wholesale or members who should not be charged tax

Avalara requires that an Entity Code be assigned to a member's profile in order to waive taxes on orders. When an order is created for this member, tax will not be calculated.


In the vinSUITE admin: in the member's profile, go to the Address Book tab and edit the General Contact Info. Scroll down until the Entity Code field is visible. Choose from the Entity Code from the dropdown.

In the eWinery admin: in the member's profile, in the primary billing address section, choose the Entity Code from the dropdown.
