Associate An Existing Barcode An Item For Easy Scanning

In this article, we will review the steps necessary to add a barcode to your item record. This will allow you to use a barcode scanner to add the item to a sale.

  1. Open ManagerIcon.png and login
  2. Go to Database > Items:
    DB-Items.png
  3. Find your item, and double-click on the record(We will use a Corkscrew item):

  4. Go to the Alias tab:

  5. Select Add:

  6. Scan the barcode using your barcode scanner, and click OK. Don't forget to click OK to save the changes to your item, as well:

You have successfully setup your item to easily scan it into your transactions going forward.
