The following is the optimum order: Setting up Shipping Rates for your wine shipping can be complex. If you require help or other support with this feature, please contact your Account Manager or Support. Before attempting to add shipping rates, be sure to review the guidelines provided at sites such as www.ups.com, www.fedex.com or any other shipper. With UPS, for example, you can click "Calculate Time and Cost" and then "U.S. Ground Maps" and various tools will be available such as visual maps. Define the number of zones you will use. Once you have entered the number of zones, assign a zone number for each of the states you can legally ship to. To do this, click Zones/States on the Wine Shipping menu and edit each of your legal states, one at a time. Add the different shipping types you will offer: ground, 3Day, 2Day, Express, etc. Begin entering your shipping rates. Your rates will depend upon several factors: zone, bottle size, number of bottles or cases, and shipping method. Critical : Note that the rate you enter is Per Unit. So, for example, if you are entering the per unit price for six bottles of wine, that rate will be multiplied by six when the customer checks out with an order of six bottles or more.
