Overview of creating email campaigns in eWinery, including instructions on sending a mass email.

Email Campaigns

The Email Documents section allows users to create emails to be used for email campaigns. This section also includes any automated emails the system uses to confirm and notify customer actions.

Creating email campaigns in eWinery is a 3 step process:

  1. Create your list of email recipients in ListBuilder.

  2. Create or edit your email in Email Documents.

  3. Send your email using Send Mass Email.

Send Mass Email

This feature allows you to Send Mass Emails of the Email Documents you have previously created. Alternatively, you can also send emails to individuals or smaller groups.

This is an opportunity to offer an incentive, such as a coupon, for your customers to revisit your website. You will select an email document to send from a drop-down list. You may also select the recipients from a drop-down of the lists that you have created, including your member types as well as the lists you have created using the ListBuilder feature.

Sending a Mass Email

  1. Click the Members icon on the Admin Panel. In the menu bar, select Send Mass Emails.

    The Email a Document pop-up screen appears.

    • In the Document drop-down list, select the document you want to email.

    • The Send From Field will auto-populate with your main eWS email.

    • Choose who you want to send this email to. Note there are two Send To fields. Do one of the following, or use both if necessary:

  2. When you have specified your recipients, click Send Email. You will see a message, Successfully sent to [number of] individuals.

IMPORTANT! Sending emails to lists of more than 5,000 members may result in the process being interrupted, resulting in some messages not being sent. We recommend that for lists over 5,000, you export the list and use an enterprise-level marketing tool such as Vertical Response. Or you could segment your list by STATE and save multiple lists of less than 5,000 members each. Please contact Client Support for assistance.
