eWinery Product Report Groups
Overview of product report groups in eWinery, including step-be-step instructions on how to add, edit, and delete a product report group.
Product Report Groups
A Product Report Group allows you to group non-wine products together that can be included on certain reports. The Product Report Groups that you enter here will populate the Report Group drop-down lists on the Products General tab when you are adding First Party Products.

Reporting Using Product Report Groups
Add a Product Report Groups
1. Click the Store icon on the Admin Panel. On the Store menu, choose Products, and then click Product Report Groups.

2. Click Add A Report Group in the left pane. The Add Wine Brand dialog box opens.

3. In the Add A Report Group dialog box, you may enter the Report Group name in the open text field.
Click SAVE.

4. Click Save when you are finished.
Edit a Product Report Group
1. Click the Store icon on the Admin Panel. On the Store menu, choose Products, and then click Product Report Groups.

2. A list of previously created Product Report Groups will display on the screen in the order of which they were created.

3. Click the green pencil next to the Product Report Group for which you would like to edit.

4. The Product Report Group dialog box will open allowing you to edit the name of the group in the text field.

5. Click Save when you are finished.
Delete a Product Report Group
1. Click the Store icon on the Admin Panel. On the Store menu, choose Products, and then click Product Report Groups.

2. A list of previously created Product Report Groups will display on the screen in the order of which they were created.

3. Click the red X next to the Product Report Group for which you would like to delete.

4. A confirmation box will open asking you to confirm that you would like to delete the Product Report Group.

5. Click OK to confirm.
The Product Report Group will be removed from the list of existing product report groups that are available.
Any products that had the deleted Product Report Group attached will now have a blank entry under Product Report Groups. Nothing about the Product will be effected the deletion of the Product Report Group except the Product Report Group listing itself.
Reporting Using Product Report Groups
You can run reports which include the Product Report Group to help filter and organize your sales information.
1. Click the Reports icon on the Admin Panel. In the menu bar, click BI Reporting. This will open a new browser window into the Business Intelligence module integrated with IBI.

2. In the new browser window click on My Reports in the sub navigation. From there click the + next to Domains> eWinery> Standard Reports> Sales Reports and then click on Sales Detail Report.

3. The report filters and options will appear on the right side of the screen. You can include any filters and fields that you wish. Under Sort Fields be sure to select ReportGroup and add it to the right option box using the arrows to move.

4. Once you have entered your criteria, select the type of display output. Common selections are HTML Active and Excel. Click Run Now and the report will appear below or be generated as described above for the chosen format.
If ReportGroup was selected as a sort field, then it will be an available column in the report.
