Resetting Hooks For RMS

In this guide, you will learn how to reset the hooks for Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS).

1. Open the Registry Editor
   • This can be done be searching for "regedit" in your Start menu:
     
     
2. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WOW6432Node > Microsoft > Retail Management System > Store Operations > Hooks
   
   
3. With the Hooks folder selected, Double-click on the Count key, set Value Data: 0, and click 'OK'
   

After resetting the Hooks, you will need to apply the hooks in the following order:

• Open Store Operations: POS to apply the hook for RMS
• Install/Set hooks for any 3rd-party applications (ie: SecurePlus, Valutec Gift Cards)
  
• Activate the RMS Hooks for the NVPOS product in ProductControl
