Exclude Non-Wine Products From ShipCompliant Feature

This feature (based on a current RMS feature) allows wineries to set up two general merchandise products in ShipCompliant, which are used to mask non-wine products and allows them to flow through ShipCompliant as compliant. With this feature, wineries can save time by not having to set up every individual non-wine product and save money by reducing the amount of SKUs in ShipCompliant. Please note that this feature is usually only used by clients who fulfill In House, because the actual SKU will not be sent to the fulfillment house, only the "GeneralMerchandiseTaxable" and "GeneralMerchandiseNonTaxable" SKUs.

If your winery is interested in this feature, please contact support@vinsuite.com to have it enabled for you. Let us know if you want ALL the non-wine products set to Exclude from Compliance or if you want to enable the non-wine products individually. Once enabled, you can toggle individual non-wine products to YES/NO to have those SKUs masked.

How to set up GeneralMerchandiseTaxable and General MerchandiseNonTaxable items in ShipCompliant:

• Log in at https://portal.shipcompliant.com/
• In the navigation find Setup
• Under Setup go to Products
• Click Add Product

Set up GeneralMerchandiseTaxable:

• Product Distribution Type: Wholesale / Direct
• Product Type: General Merchandise
• Supplier: (not editable)
• Key/SKU: GeneralMerchandiseTaxable
• Brand: select your brand
• SAVE

Set up GeneralMerchandiseNonTaxable:

• Click Add Product
• Product Distribution Type: Wholesale and Direct
• Product Type: General Taxable
• Supplier: (not editable)
• Key/SKU: GeneralMerchandiseNonTaxable
• Brand: select your brand
• SAVE
