Shipping Setup for Quarantined Orders: Causes and Fixes

Why are orders quarantined?

Orders are placed in quarantine when no shipping type is selected. All orders need either shipping or pickup to undergo compliance evaluation.

How do you clear a quarantined order?

1. Open the order and edit it.
2. Select a shipping type.
3. If the order should not ship, switch it from shipping to pickup or will call.
4. Recheck compliance.
5. Process the order normally.

How should event tickets be set up?

If a product is a will call event ticket and will not be shipped, update the product setup so buyers are directed to choose Pick Up Order at checkout. Adding this instruction to the Events product category helps prevent the order from entering quarantine.

What product setup should be checked for shipping rates?

First Party Products need a weight assigned to receive shipping rates. If a product has no weight assigned, it will not receive shipping rates correctly.
