TabletPOS: Enhanced Recall

This document will walk you through the Enhanced Recall feature and what to expect

What is Enhanced Recall?

Here at vinSuite, we are dedicated to providing solutions that assist winery efforts to provide an exceptional hospitality experience, and we understand that a big part of that experience is showing your customer that you value their time. We believe that our Enhanced Recall feature will help you do just that. The Enhanced Recall feature will allow you to quickly manage the pending club order experience right from your TabletPOS system.

Enabling Enhanced Recall

Enhanced Recall is what we are calling a default feature. This means that there is no setup required and this feature is available to all users out of the box. Simply ensure that you are using the latest version of our TabletPOS application and enhanced recall is available to you.

How does it work?

We have modified the Recall Order menu to now include orders with a pending or accepted status from vinSuite for website and club order types. These order types include:
  • Club
  • Admin
  • Store
Specifically, this feature will better support your wine club operation and allow for a truly unique pick-up experience, as well as an upsell opportunity for your sales team in the tasting room.

Recommended Workflow

While this feature can be used without assigning a member to the system, it is best used this way to achieve a quick and efficient order experience.

1) Look-up the member using Search Member:

2) With the members name showing on the sale, go to the Cashier menu:

3) Select the Recall Order option:

3) Select the desired club order from the list:

NOTE: If an item from your club order has not been setup in the TabletPOS, the item will appear as a black tile automatically, allowing you to adjust quantity as needed. Once the order has been completed, the product will no longer appear in the TabletPOS product list:

At this point, you are free to make all the standard modifications that you would for a typical TabletPOS order, including modifying the shipping options. This can be perfect for club member shipments that get declined during the club run, and the member comes to the tasting room to pick-up the order instead.
