vinSUITE DesktopPOS is now certified for Open Edge Canada, which means any current Canadian customers can use our Open Edge/RMS integration.

vinSUITE DesktopPOS is now certified for Open Edge Canada, which means any current Canadian customers can use the Open Edge/RMS integration and take advantage of the features that it offers:

  • Tokenization
  • Tips
  • EMV


Note: This does not change anything with our vinSUITE/Open Edge integration. This is specifically for vinSUITE DesktopPOS.

What does this mean?

  • Any current Canadian DesktopPOS customers can switch to Open Edge to take advantage of the above features.
  • Any Canadian prospects can be pitched on OpenEdge, as we can now tell them we have an option for EMV/Tips in Canada.
  • Any current WineWare customers in Canada, can now switch to DesktopPOS (Assuming it will meet their business needs), so we don?t lose them as POS customers.
