Google Analytics Enhanced Ecommerce Our updated integration will now give you better insight into product and sales performance as well as shopping and checkout behavior. The Google Overview and Product Performance reports show you helpful info such as the conversion rates for your products, how many products the average transaction includes, promo code applied discounts, and the average order value. Not included in this release but slated for future development is data on adding and removing products from shopping carts. Updates are needed to Universal Analytics (GA) and also (if you use it) Google Tag Manager (GTM) Universal Analytics if you choose to use Enhanced Ecommerce. Google Analytics Configuration NOTE : Do NOT upgrade to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This is not compatible with our integration. Admin >> Ecommerce Settings >> toggle ON Enable Ecommerce and Enhanced Ecommerce Reporting For easier parsing of Checkout data, add Checkout Labeling: 1 = Cart, 2 = Shipping, 3 = Billing, 4 = Payment (most sites) 1 = Cart, 2 = Personal Info, 3 = Payment (if your site does not have one page checkout) GTM Enhanced Ecomm Tag Configuration Tag Type: Google Analytics Universal Analytics Be sure to enable ?Overriding settings? in this tag More Settings >> Ecommerce >> Enhanced Ecommerce features >> true >> use dataLayer Make sure Triggering for this tag is set to ?Page View? for ?All Pages? Please note that our existing GA/GTM implementation is unaffected by this update if you do not choose to update. To enable the Enhanced Ecommerce integration in vinSUITE, please contact our Client Services Team at support@vinsuite.com. Only sites built on our responsive platform are eligible for the Enhanced Ecommerce integration.
