SmartClub (V9) TLS 1.2 Update

This article will guide you through the TLS 1.2 update for SmartClub v9

First, we must prepare for this update:

Attached to this article, please find the TLSConnect.dll file we will need. Please copy this to the SmartClub machine. This can be saved in the C:\WineWare folder.

Next, Check your version of SmartClub and download the correct update using the links below:

Follow the steps below to update SmartClub (v9):

1. Back-up the existing SmartClub database

2. Open Programs and Features (appwiz.cpl)

3. Find the SmartClub v9 install

4. Uninstall SmartClub

5. Install the newest version of SmartClub we downloaded earlier

6. Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Club

7. Add the TLSConnect.dll file to this location

8. Open Command Prompt (CMD). (Run as Administrator)

9. Navigate to C:\Club and register the PaygatewayNET.dll using the following command: regsvr32 PaygatewayNET.dll

Congratulations! You have successfully updated SmartClub v9 and are now processing on TLS 1.2. You may now proceed with the Club Credit Card Processing.
